Charles Wade's 1909 Map

This is an interactive copy of Charles Wade's 1909 map of the Suburb. This illustration accompanies Raymond Unwin's important 1909 book, Town Planning in Practice. In the preface, Unwin praised "Mr. Wade's charming and imaginative pictures," without which, "the book would have been but imperfectly illustrated."
